Sarasota Winter Carnival: January 16 – 20, 2025
This 5-day carnival features midway rides and games and, of course, all the treats that people go to a carnival for! In addition to the carnival, which runs from Thursday, Jan. 16 to Monday, Jan. 20, Street, enjoy Street Food Fair activities from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and live entertainment on Sunday.
Midway hours: 5-10 pm Thursday, 5-11 pm Friday, noon-11 pm Saturday – Sunday, noon-9 pm Monday
Unlimited ride wristbands (for riders 36″ & taller) are available online before 5 pm Thurs., Jan. 16. Prices are $29 each or 2 for $55; 4 for $99, while supplies last. Tickets are also available at the carnival. An online presale special offers $45 for 50 tickets + 1 free ride. Rides require 2 or more tickets each.
Admission and parking are free.
Carnival guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult aged 21 or older.
Sharktoberfest – January 18, 2025
Presented by the Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium, this craft beer festival features samples from local and regional breweries. And you can enjoy each taste from your free, commemorative tasting glass. Event features live entertainment, food stations, merchandise and educational presentations.
A limited number of VIP Tasting tickets are available for $125.
Must be age 21 or older to attend
